Verification standards

Claimed, verified, sponsored, and preferred are different states.

Every state has its own evidence gate. One completed step never silently certifies licensing, insurance, availability, or project quality.

Evidence states

Missing evidence stays visible

Provided

A contractor or public source supplied information. THP has not necessarily verified it.

Checked

THP recorded the source, date, applicable scope, and approved reviewer or automated check.

Re-verification due

Time-sensitive evidence must be checked again before verified wording continues.

Review outcomes

Approved, needs information, rejected, or suspended

  • Approved means the stated gate was satisfied, not that every possible claim was verified.
  • Needs information preserves the missing-document or clarification requirement.
  • Rejected records the failed gate without publishing private findings.
  • Suspended removes routing eligibility while the underlying issue is reviewed.

Homeowner responsibility

Confirm current licensing, insurance, permits, scope, pricing, and contract terms directly before hiring. THP labels are narrow evidence statements, not guarantees.
