Published directory method

What the labels mean, what they do not mean, and how pages are ordered.

Version one uses transparent evidence and completeness indicators instead of a mysterious numerical trust score or an unsupported best-of ranking.

Purpose

Trusted Home Pros FL organizes useful home-service business information for South Florida homeowners. The directory helps people narrow a category and service area, compare visible profile facts, and choose a next step. It does not guarantee a contractor, project, response time, safety result, price, or outcome.

Profile sources

Profile data may come from a business owner, an approved public source, or an internal operational record. Public profiles should identify the relevant source type and last-updated or checked date where available. Data that is not available remains labeled as unavailable.

Ownership status

Profile has not been claimed

No business representative has completed the platform’s ownership step for that profile.

Owner-verified profile

The platform completed its ownership-verification step with a business representative. This state applies only to profile control. It does not certify licensing, insurance, background checks, work quality, availability, or project fit.

License and insurance information

  • Not supplied: the profile does not contain the information.
  • Information provided: a business supplied information, but the label does not claim an independent status check.
  • Status checked on a date: the platform recorded a check against the displayed source and date.

A check is time-bound. Homeowners should use the appropriate official source and confirm what is required for their specific work.

Ratings and reviews

When rating data is shown, the profile should identify the third-party source, rating, review count, and check date. Trusted Home Pros FL does not fabricate reviews, invent aggregate ratings, or automatically copy third-party review text. Missing rating data is not treated as a negative or positive score.

Directory filtering and ordering

Filters may use supplied profile data such as:

  • service category and stated service area;
  • city, county, or exact supplied ZIP coverage;
  • emergency-service indication;
  • owner-verified profile state;
  • sponsor state;
  • sourced rating and review count; and
  • profile update date.

“Sponsored first” is an explicit sorting option and sponsored cards are labeled. Relevance should begin with category and service-area fit. The directory does not publish an unexplained “best” order.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship is paid placement. It may affect disclosed placement or routing according to current terms and territory configuration. It does not change ownership, license, insurance, rating, or other evidence states. See the sponsorship disclosure.

Indexing threshold

A generated city, category, combination, or profile page should only be indexable when it contains enough approved, useful information and real listings to help a visitor. Demonstration fixtures and thin local combinations remain noindex.

Corrections

A business owner, homeowner, source owner, or other affected party can submit a correction through the contact form. Include the profile URL, disputed field, and a reliable supporting source. A request begins review; it does not guarantee the requested edit.

Method updates

This methodology may change as data sources, verification processes, product scope, and legal requirements evolve. Material changes should be reflected here before a new public status or score is introduced.
