Current public status
THP has not yet accepted an outside expert reviewer for the homeowner-guide library. Current guides disclose that boundary and do not emit a named reviewer or reviewedBy schema.
Minimum eligibility
- A current, independently checkable license or certification relevant to the assigned topic.
- Practical South Florida experience appropriate to the guide’s trade, hazard, or building-system scope.
- A public professional identity and a direct business or institutional contact channel.
- A completed conflict disclosure covering THP, listed contractors, sponsors, referrals, and paid relationships.
Topic-scoped assignments
Review assignments must match the supported credential. A home inspector may review documentation and system-observation checklists without being presented as a licensed trade contractor. Mold, engineering, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, roofing, code, and life-safety claims require the appropriate narrower expertise.
Required review receipt
- The exact guide version and sections reviewed.
- The reviewer’s supported name, role, organization, credential, and verification source.
- The review date, material corrections requested, and whether each correction was accepted.
- The compensation and conflict disclosure, including an explicit statement that payment does not control conclusions.
- A re-review trigger for material safety, legal, code, licensing, or source changes.
Independence and corrections
A reviewer may disagree with THP. Sponsorship, contractor listing, referral relationships, or compensation may not change an evidence label or suppress a material safety correction. Accepted review does not make the reviewer responsible for contractor selection, an on-site diagnosis, or a homeowner outcome.
Publication boundary
THP publishes a reviewer identity only after credential verification, conflict review, written scope acceptance, completed review, and retained revision evidence. Candidate research, an outreach email, or silence never becomes reviewer attribution.
