What “Sponsored listing” means
A business has an active paid placement associated with the displayed category, territory, or inventory configuration. The specific benefits depend on the current written sponsor terms and activation state.
What sponsorship does not mean
- It is not a recommendation or endorsement.
- It does not mean licensed, insured, certified, approved, guaranteed, or background checked.
- It does not promise work quality, price, availability, response time, or project outcome.
- It does not raise a rating or change a review source.
- It does not complete profile ownership or another evidence check.
Placement and sorting
A sponsored business may receive disclosed priority placement when it still matches the requested category and service area. The directory offers an explicit “Sponsored first” sort label. Sponsored placement should never be visually disguised as an organic best-of ranking.
Lead routing
Active sponsor configuration may be one routing factor after valid category and service-area matching. Urgency capability, capacity, availability, fallback logic, and exceptions may also apply. A request is not automatically sent to every contractor.
Territory and exclusivity
An inquiry, conversation, verbal discussion, draft proposal, or form submission does not reserve a territory. Exclusivity only applies when it is confirmed in current written terms and the territory, payment, activation, and renewal state are recorded.
Pricing and terms
Pricing is configurable and is not hardcoded on this public disclosure. A qualified business receives the current terms applicable to its category and territory before any payment or activation.
