Source hierarchy
Primary public records and direct, attributable business information are preferred. Secondary sources may provide context but should not silently replace the original source. Each material fact should identify its source type and freshness where the page format allows.
Safety and professional limits
Homeowner guidance may explain immediate safety steps and questions to ask, but it is not a substitute for emergency services, legal advice, engineering advice, insurance advice, or an on-site diagnosis.
Commercial independence
Sponsorship may affect clearly disclosed placement or routing. It does not change an evidence label, verification state, editorial conclusion, or research result. Sponsored relationships must be visible.
Review and freshness
Guidance and research should display a last-reviewed or modified date. Material updates should be reviewed against current primary sources. Stale facts should be rechecked, removed, or marked unavailable.
AI-assisted work
Automated tools may assist with organization, drafting, or quality checks. They may not invent sources, experiences, credentials, ratings, quotes, local conditions, or contractor performance. Public claims remain subject to the same evidence and review rules.
